Hi, I’m Brian

I make podcasts with my friends, and I love it. Sickboy started at the Halifax library eleven years ago and somehow grew into Snack Labs, a whole company. Brian leaning out of the door of his blue Volkswagen van I'm also hopelessly curious about computers, so at 36 I went back to school for computer science. I'm having the best time.

Mostly I build little answers to questions I can't drop, like when Eastlink actually picks up, whether I run like Kipchoge (I don't), whether podcast titles matter, whether AI picks better ones and who they're really for.

Lately I've also been making little toys for this site, like a paper fortune teller and a deck of side quests you can draw from once a day. A highway through a car windshield, printed in blue There's a Raspberry Pi on my wall I'm weirdly proud of, too. I live in Halifax with Maddy, who I'm marrying, and Rupert, our golden retriever.
